PakTrust was granted Excellence Award 2008-2009 by Azad Kashmir Association of Blind (AKAB) to acknowledge their maritorior services for the welfare and rehabilitation of Blind children. PakTrust Country Manager, Advocate Faisal Shahzad was at the ceremony to collect the award on 25th March 2010.

Pictures taken at PakTrust Eye Camps. The 1st camp was held at AKAB School in Mirpur, 2nd and 3rd were held at The PakTrust regional office in Jhelum, Jaan Sadiq Memorial Building. Zakat eligible patients were seen and those requiring cataract or other operations were send to Al-Shifa Eye Hosiptal in Rawalpindi (some on same days and others few days later) at full cost to PakTrust. Hundres’s of patients to date have benefited from cataract operations and thousands from free glasses.

PakTrust Chairman and Trustee (Haji Mohammad Ramzan) visit to AKAB School for the Blind in Mirpur Azad Kashmir. During the visit PakTrust Chairman presented 5 Lakh Ruppee’s at Standard Chartered Bank Mirpur Branch.
