My name is Haider Ramzan, and I am the son of Sajid Ramzan (Chair of PakTrust.org). PakTrust recently held a surgical eye camp at Riaz Hospital in Mirpur (Azad Kashmir) on April 10th and 11th 2010. I was a volunteer on both days of the eye camp. Please stop by to read my account of the eye camp.

PakTrust are pleased to announce the official opening of Free Dispensary at Jaan Sadiq Memorial in Jhelum. The Dispensary was opened on 6th January 2010 and already as at end of April nearly 1,000 local people had benefited from seeing MBBS qualified Doctor and qualified chemist. On 10th and 11th April 2010, PakTrust in partnership with POB Trust and Riaz Hospital held a 2 day surgical eye camp. On 11th April PakTrust.org signed MOU with POB Trust (PIMA). The agreement enables 2 surgical eye camps annually one in Jhelum and the other in Mirpur (AK). PakTrust announces new Eye Camp in Mirpur Azad Kashmir at Riaz Hosiptal on 10th April 2010 in partnership with POB and Riaz Hospital.

Haji Mohammed Ramzan (UK PakTrust Trustee) visits Bagh to meet patients who have benefited from PakTrust Earthquake Artificial Limbs Project – which is being administered by the Fauji Foundation Hospital, Pakistan. This was near to the festival of Eid, so all patients were given blankets and cash for Eid assistance.

Artificial Limbs patients that have benefited from limbs provided by the Fauji Foundation Hospital, and funded by PakTrust.org.

PakTrust Signs Agreement with Artificial Limbs Centre @ Fauji Foundation Hosiptal in Rawalpindi. In this agreement, PakTrust provides the funds and FFH-ALC provide limbs to people who were victim f the 2005 earthquake. Subsequently, PakTrust has continued to support this programme and the very needy Zakat eligible patients are still able to receive limbs free of cost from this project.
