For several years, with Allah’s Will and your generous support, we have successfully met our target of funding 1,000 cataract surgeries annually. This year, In Sha Allah, we once again aim to raise funds to provide another 1,000 life-changing surgeries.
Cataracts are the leading cause of blindness in impoverished communities—a condition that is entirely preventable with a relatively small cost to us in the developed world. However, for those living in poverty, the cost of treatment is unattainable, leaving them permanently blind. Blindness is not just a health issue—it is life-altering, leading to isolation, financial hardship, and exclusion from society.
A simple cataract surgery can restore sight, allowing children to continue their education, the elderly to regain their independence, and breadwinners to provide for their families once again.
For just £40, you can give someone the gift of sight:
You also have the opportunity to sponsor a surgical eye camp in remembrance of a loved one, making it a truly meaningful Sadaqah Jariyah that continues to benefit others.
Your support can transform lives — let’s bring light where there was darkness.
You can make an enormous lasting impact on hundreds of families in one go.
Watching the poor shower their powerful prayers for you, when they can start seeing again, is just heart-melting.
You raise the funds, decide where in Pakistan or Kashmir you want to hold the eye camp, and we will take care of the rest.
Covid situation permitting, you can even go out to the eye camp to witness eveything first hand.
In Sha Allah.
PakTrust.org is a registered British Charity with Charity Number 1113301.
PakTrust.org was established as a direct result of the devastating earthquake in Pakistan and Kashmir in 2005. A group of London-based professional family members, friends, relatives and supporters were spurred into action by the earthquake. Our original mission was to provide emergency relief and assistance to the earthquake victims.
Since then, our mission has been to implement charitable projects in Pakistan and Kashmir. Our projects provide maximum value for money for those providing the funds, and maximum help to the people that need it the most.
PakTrust.org is a small charity, but in a short period of time with loyal support, we have successfully implemented many projects and schemes serving hundreds of thousands families, helping some of the poorest people in society.
